The aim of The Olympic Effect is to be a contemplation of what has been and explore the legacy of the Olympic Park, the topology of the landscape and the traces that are left behind as well as the emptiness of what it has been left. I further want to conjure notions of past memory as well as the Olympic dream and emphasise the somewhat forlorn sensibility that looms over this barren concrete park.
